You’ve almost made it to the last week. I’m sure by now you are really feeling the difference. If this room has been collecting some of the junk from the rest of your decluttering, it’s time to finally make those tough decisions and let things go.
You will breathe a sigh of relief when your living room is decluttered. It will feel like the fresh start you’ve been working towards. You can do this!!
Reminders:
- If you have not already done the Recommended Reading – do that now. The articles linked in that post help you keep a mindset prepared to let go of clutter.
- It is not required, but I’ve designed the Declutter Printable Pack to be a fantastic supplemental resource and help you finish this challenge successfully. To make it more valuable, I add details not found on the blog. Thank you to all those who have already purchased their copy!
- Just Joining Us? It may be tempting to start from the beginning, but I think you should start on the current week with the group. Make sure you take the time to do some of the required reading. I also suggest buying the declutter challenge printable because not only will it help you during the challenge, you’ll be able to circle back at the end to the weeks you missed.
Now on to your assignment for the week …

Mary, just want to thank you again for helping me better care for our home. We had a family of four living with us for almost a year… our home was somewhat in a sad state and very depressing to this OCD momma! You broke it down so I can manage quick 15 minute declutter session
I’m so glad to have helped and I’m even more glad that you’re coming out of that funk!
Each year I get on task with you. Cannot believe how much stuff I have removed from our house. This year is easier because I have gotten rid of stuff. I have found if I give my husband small things to go through he is more.likely to help out.
Good job getting rid of so much stuff! And I’m glad you’ve found a way to work with your husband. That is so helpful!
