We try to do something that resembles a date EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK. We started a few years ago and it was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made for our marriage.
I’ll admit, I like a formulaic date night. I like eating dinner out and I like movies. I also like sitting at home in my pajamas and eating ice cream. Matt and I tend towards routines and being homebodies, it’s just who we are. But, when we try to get out and do different things, it always an adventures. An occasional adventure keeps our relationship fresh, we get to know each other in new ways, and we’ve never regret trying something new together.
But how can two people who love their routines figure out ways to branch out? We love using our POGO Passes together!
Do you live in one of these areas? If so, keep reading! (If not, I’m sorry, I’ll let you know if something changes and they come to your area.)
Las Vegas, NV
Kansas City, KS/MO
Dallas/ Ft. Worth, TX (<— this is the one I use)
Austin/ Waco, TX
San Antonio, TX
I know I talk about using these together as a family with the kids, but we also use our passes just for date nights together. I’ve already shared that I get a little competitive at arcade games, so we like to do them occasionally on a date not and not just with the kids.
Things on our POGO Pass that are good for date nights?
- Put-put golf
- Sports games
- Ice skating
- Rock Climbing
- Texas Discovery Gardens
Here’s another way to spread it out if you live in the Dallas Area (activities obviously vary by area). Go look at the list for your area and see what you’d do!
Our annual passes pay for themselves so many times over. We definitely get our money’s worth out of it. (We actually even bought an extra pass on our account for when we occasionally bring a friend because we still get our money’s worth on that too!)
While you can normally get the passes for $49.98 with my code they are only $39.98 per pass!!! That is a whole lot of date nights for not very much! Use code: FUNWITHMARY
A year of date nights is a great last minute gift for someone you love. Give it a try and don’t forget to use my code: FunWithMary!
