Instant Pot Baked Beans

Simplifying the normal work required to make traditional baked beans without sacrificing the flavor!
Ingredients
  • 2 cups beans (white, navy, or brown)
  • ½ pound bacon, chopped finely
  • 1 onion, chopped finely
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ molasses
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon dry mustard
  • 6 cups water
Instructions
  1. Rinse beans and then remove bad ones.
  2. Place ALL ingredients into the Instant Pot in order listed.
  3. Close the lid, making sure the vent is closed.
  4. Pressure cooker settings: Manual HIGH pressure for 70 minutes (will take about 20 minutes to get to reach pressure).
  5. When it's done, let it release naturally for 15 minutes, then quick release until the pressure is out.
  6. Stir and serve!
