Do you have a favorite arcade game? I definitely have one. Whenever we are passing by an arcade (like at a bowling alley or the movie theatre), my kids know I’m probably going to give in to a little splurge in the arcade if they have this game. It is called Piano Keys. Basically you just bang on “keys” that match up with the column on the screen. It is timed and I will not give up until I have the 1st place score.
I should be embarrassed typing that out, but I’m not, because it is FUN! Imagine my excitement when my favorite local arcade, Shenaniganz, was added to our POGO passes last month. And it is a monthly offer, so each of our POGO passes gets a $5 arcade card every single month. That is $35 worth of free arcade playing every month because we have 7 POGO Passes for my family. (I bought an extra pass for my mom to use when she is with us.)
And yes, last month Matt and I went on a date night and used all 7 passes worth of arcade cards for ourselves. So much Piano Keys! š¤£š¤£š¤£
I love that any existing POGO Pass got the offer and it wasn’t just the new passes that get in on the action. Any time a new venue is added, all POGO passes automatically get it too! That’s because the POGO pass is managed electronically. You can download the POGO pass app on your phone and the first screen that pops up has all the barcodes for each pass on your account.
There is no little punch card to keep track of! It is all on your phone!
Go to Pogopass.com and use this code: funwithmary for 20% off! I get a small affiliate bonus when you use my code – thank you! (My family had passes way before I became an affiliate – we really love them.)
Remember:
- The POGO Pass is not a summer pass.
- It is a full-year pass! It expires 1 whole year from whenever you purchase.
- It definitely provides a lot of summer fun, but you can also use it for school breaks, weekend fun, and even date night!
Last week we went to a different arcade place, iT’Z. I got the night off from cooking because it had a pizza buffet. Then, we played laser tag, climbed the wall, drove bumper cars and played arcade games until we were worn out. We are really trying to soak up these last days of summer. (Entrance & Buffet are covered by the POGO Passes, we buy the passes to games.)
The first few activities you use your POGO Pass for will “pay back” the cost of the pass and then there is so much more fun left to be had! Here’s an example of how the costs break down in my area (DFW), though I’m sure it is a similar value in all the other areas too! If you didn’t notice, Chicago was just added!
The image below doesn’t include some of the newer venues added, which makes it an even better deal than it appears.
We love to go play as a family, and I love the way the POGO Passes inspire us to get out of the house. We will use these all year long, even on the weekends and school holidays during the school year. There is so much to do!
I hope you have lots of fun!
From my home to yours,
Mary
