Have you ever been to a Favorite Things party? Everyone who comes brings something they love, usually capped at a certain spending limit, then you play a gift exchange game. Everyone leaves with something awesome, plus as all the gifts are opened, people share and talk about their favorite things. It is so fun!
In that spirit, I thought I’d share some things that I have been loving lately. If you want to see the list I’ve been creating for over a year over on Amazon, you can see this list for all of my favorite things in one place.
Some things have really stood out lately as favorites –

My uniform of choice is a pair of leggings and nice-looking, but comfortable top. These have been my favorites for a while. The top definitely does not look or feel like it costs less than $20!
- Shop the top: I have lots of the different color tops in this style, but my favorite is the navy and yellow design.
- Shop the leggings: the standard black is my favorite.

Maybe because I live in Texas, I wear sandals year round. I love these sandals so much, that I wore out my first pair and just bought a second pair. I wore my first pair often for over a year!
- Shop my favorite sandals: lots of color choices, but I love the brown leather called “toffee tan”.

Spring Break is next week and I have some stay-cation activities planned with my kids, like the Zoo, Six Flags, and the Dog Park. One Mom + 4 kids = I need all of my hands available. I love this mailman style bag from Vera Bradley. It is light, large enough for the random things my kids will make me hold, plus it is cute! And of course I got the matching wallet too, because, that’s how I like it.

This hairbrush/ blow dryer combo has been life changing. Seriously! It blow drys faster, doesn’t get my face all hot and sweaty, and it leaves my hair with so much volume!
- Shop the One Step: the hair dryer and hair brush combo

I have 3 daughters – 2 teenagers and a tween. When I help them do their nails, they are usually smudged before I’m even done painting them. And if the polish manages to get onto their nails, it only lasts a day or 2. It didn’t often feel worth the effort! I decided to try dip powder on their nails because it doesn’t use an LED light and is not too complicated. It was so fun to see their pretty nails last more than a week (then they ended up picking off all the paint anyway), but a week is a lot longer than a day and definitely worth the effort. Dip powder nails last a lot longer for me, but then I don’t let myself pick it off.
- Shop dip powder nail kit: I thought this set was really easy to use.
- Shop additional powder colors: my girls like fun colors and I like the light neutral ones
