Letter Board is a new trend that I’m loving. They’ve been around forever, but are making a comeback (like most decorating trends). I bought a few boards and I already want more … I may have a problem.
I am having to fight my urge to buy all the letter boards and all the different letters. I need to give it some boundaries soon before my collection spirals out of control. And really, I have to organize the letters. I’ll get there.
NEW TO LETTER BOARD?
Letter board is a framed board that has slits to push in special letters that fit in the slits. They are super fun and it’s easy to change out letters.
Example: These are Heidi Swapp letter boards. See the little lines in the boards? The special letter board letters have little plastic tabs in the back that fit into those lines and keep the letters in place. There are different sizes of boards and letters.
MY FIRST LETTER BOARD QUOTES
I’m having a lot of fun with my new mantle decor. I have a page in my planner where I write down quote ideas when they pop in. So many quotes.
(Even if it isn’t always in my picture (it’s harder to see the quote when I put both frames in the picture), I usually have my little side-kick letter board say a coordinating quote.)
The grammar/spelling mistakes on this were just so sweet on Father’s Day.
And … while we are looking at cute things by my fireplace – there’s this guy all dressed for church on a Sunday morning. He gets all the heart eyes.
I feel like I’m just getting started with letter board! My next step is to organize all the little letters … that sounds fun too.
Do you have a letter board? What quote would you use?
From my home to yours,
Mary
