I waited way too long to post the Level C lesson guide, but it’s finally here! And if you missed any of our former lesson guides, don’t worry, I’ve included links to the past printables down below.
The new lesson guides are for Alfred’s Basic Piano Library Level C. You can get a set of the Level C Books on Amazon, then just add on the Solo Book.
And once you have the books, just print off your FREE Lesson Guide and start on the first line. I cross off things once they’re passed off, so this sheet doesn’t stay so clean and fresh-looking for very long.

Sharing these guides all started a long time ago …
I’m very happy to say that these FREE Lesson Guides have been one of the most popular things on my blog over the years. They are still viewed regularly! And it has been so many years since I started!
Remember this cute girl from a long time ago (6 years!)…
Now she looks like this! On Sunday, she sat at the church piano while we waited for choir practice to start, but I had to take a picture because she looks so natural!
Sorry again for taking so long to come out with this new guide, I’ll be posting the next one for Level D very soon!
Piano Lesson Books
Izzy, the girl above, has been practicing hard! She is a morning person and loves to get up early, so that means I wake up every morning to the sound of her practicing. I love it – seriously one of the favorite parts of my day. Sometimes I’ll have songs in my head during the day and I can’t remember why until I hear her practice again. Today the song is “Colors of the Wind” and it is stuck in here.
Izzy tracks all of her practicing in her music lesson book:
I created these piano lesson books for my kids, but they were such a hit I decided to add them to a shop. I remember my teacher growing up using a book that had note staffs for every line, so that inspired me to at least have one note staff for the teacher to make a note (see my pun there – ha!).
Past Piano Lesson Guides
All of the books used for these are part of the Alfred Basic Piano Library. They’ve been around since I was a kid and they’re still going strong! Here are links right to the printables.

Thank you for sharing this. I guess that Alfred’s basic piano is doing something right. My son was not thrilled to be taking lessons but after the first one he liked it and could play a little, correctly. The songs are short and perfect for little fingers.
