I think one of the most important cleaning tools you own is your vacuum. If you’re in the market for a vacuum, these are the top 10 vacuums members of our Facebook Group voted on when I did a quick poll. I asked group members to vote for their FAVORITE vacuum they loved (so not just a vacuum they owned and tolerated).
This is definitely not a scientific study by any means, but I think it is a fun glimpse into what real people are using and loving. One of the less popular vacuums might just not be as well-known, but every vacuum on this list is ADORED by someone!
Here’s the results out of 287 votes:
- Shark Navigator (37%)
- Dyson Ball (36%)
- Shark Rotator Lift-Away Professional (6%)
- Kirby (5%)
- Rainbow (4%)
- Dyson Absolute (3%)
- Oreck Upright (3%)
- Other (6%)
My personal favorite is definitely the Dyson Absolute. I have the v6 right now, but I would get the v8 if I were getting a new one tomorrow because it has a longer battery life. Both have the HEPA filter, which is a must since I’m allergic to dust. (Yep, being allergic to dust is awful as a professional organizer – I have a regime to keep me from getting sick when I’m going through someone’s dusty closet! I have to keep my home fairly dust free)
Do you love a vacuum that isn’t on this list? Tell me in the comments.
From my home to yours,
Mary

We recently got a robotic vacuum. It’s not a Roomba, but rather an Eufy, which is essentially the same, but cheaper. We think it’s the greatest. We set it to run while we’re at work, and when we come home we empty the vacuum’s trap and are amazed at how much stuff it picks up every day. It does get stuck on things like cords and under furniture sometimes. It also has a habit of getting stuck in either our guest bathroom or laundry room where it inadvertently closes the door. But all in all, to have our floors free of dust and dog hair on a daily basis is awesome.

That does sound awesome to let someone (or something) else do the vacuuming! 🙂

My all time favorite is my old Dyson that I’ve had for nearly 20 years. It is still reliable and powerful and does everything I need it to do. It is however a bit heavy. Last Christmas I treated myself to a Eufy vac and I absolutely love it! It is lightweight, maneuverable, has bright headlights, and is cordless. I can do my entire house on a single charge, and it gets under beds, and you can see the dog hair and dust bunnies because of the lights. It is also quiet so it doesn’t send my dog running when I use it. I got it on Amazon for about $99.

I hadn’t heard many reviews about the Eufy, but you’re the second comment in a row. I’ll look into them! 🙂
