As I write this, my husband and two teen girls are at Java Gaming Cafe – a fun place to play video games. They’re not paying a dime tonight, even though it would normally cost $30 for the 2 hours they’ve been there. (3 people x $5/hr x 2 hours = $30) Their fun was budgeted and paid for already when we bought our POGO Pass.
If we didn’t have a POGO pass, we probably never would have tried out the Java Cafe, but now my husband and kids are making great father and daughter bonding memories.
This example is for the Dallas/ Fort Worth area, but the savings are similar to where you are at. If you added up all the different admissions that come with this pass they total $498, but this pass is only $39.98 with my promo code funwithmary – huge savings!
I like saving a ton of money on stuff we’d do anyway, but my actual favorite part of the POGO pass is trying new things. My family and I found some fun things we loved doing last year.
I do love saving on the things we’d do anyway. Like, going to Hawaiian Falls. We’d probably go anyway at least once in the summer, and those tickets alone practically pay for the POGO passes.
(And you may notice my kids have friends in some of these pictures – that’s because I buy an extra pass to use for friends!)
If you feel like I’m pushing these passes really hard, I’m sorry, but it is only because I think they are THAT awesome. If they’re available near you, find out what venues are part of the pass in your area.
Be sure to save $10 off your passes using my code: funwithmary – Check out the venues in your area.
Whenever you purchase a POGO Pass, your passes last one year starting at that time. So, while I keep talking about using the passes during the summer, you can spread out the fun ALL.YEAR.LONG. This is our second year with the passes and I’ve got things scheduled into our summer calendar to keep us busy and using the passes keeps us on budget!
PS – If you don’t have one locally, these make perfect gifts!
