I’ve been in a lot of homes (and lived in several) where the cabinet above the oven is a giant wasteland of unused potential. A simple hack will give these cabinets the feel of built-in functionality.
Here is the simple fix.
I use pantry racks from Amazon. They are good for holding cookie sheets, drying racks, cutting boards, trays, muffin tins, pizza pans, and other big flat-ish things. I attach the pantry racks with wire cable clips, so they don’t slide around!!
And that’s it! A small thing with HUGE IMPACT. Now the cabinet above the oven is super useful and not just wasted space. Organizing a bunch of awkward-sized things is a huge win!!! (These cabinets are so tall, I even have a second cabinet above the first one. I put my freezer cooking stash in here.)
Do this for your home!
First, you’ll need to get the tools. I order a lot of this kind of thing on Amazon, because without leaving my house, I can get everything I need in 2 days!
When you’re putting it in your cabinet, make it fit, by leaving spaces between the racks. You’ll use these spaces between like another organizing slot!
If you can’t get to this project now, pin for later!
