Every home needs to be deep cleaned occasionally. Deep Cleaning in the spring feels so good – like shaking off the grime of winter and making a fresh start. My Spring Cleaning Program takes all the guesswork out of what to do or where to start. My schedule and checklists give you an easy-to-follow plan, whether you’re doing the cleaning yourself or delegating.

I’m 5’1″ tall and my husband doesn’t like me climbing ladders (probably because he’s had to save me a few times from falling off šŸ˜…), so I hire someone else to clean my windows. Same thing with my dryer vent because the dryer outlet is on the roof! But, I don’t mind deep cleaning bathrooms, floors, and plenty of things. When all 4 of my kids still lived at home, I’d make cleaning assignments on a Saturday and enjoy watching my kids learn life skills. Kids are really good at cleaning doors and light switches – and many hands make the work go fast. There have been busy seasons where I’ve even hired cleaning crews to come in and do light fixtures and sometimes more. No matter who does the cleaning, I’m the holder of the checklists and get the satisfaction of checking off each item!! Ha!

However you approach your Spring Cleaning, it is an important thing to get done. Regular cleaning is great, but we miss a lot of things in the hurry to get it “clean enough.” You need to occasionally take a little time and clean a little more thoroughly. Make sure all the layers of dust and grime are gone before the crud becomes permanent and too tough to clean.

Maybe the most important reason to deep clean is to make your home FEEL SO GOOD! Cleaning up will have a direct affect on how you feel every day. Cleaning is a safe and healthy way to lift your mood and the mood of your whole home!

So Many Ways to Spring Clean!

… or Anytime Deep Clean!

I’ve worked with enough people to understand that there is not one approach that fits everyone’s lifestyle, so my plan has 3 main options with ways to adapt each one!

Option 1: 5 Week Schedule

Use the schedule view to pace your deep cleaning over 5 weeks. Spring is a great time to deep clean, but these 5 weeks can be done spring, fall, or anytime!

Option 2: Deep Clean Checklist

Use the deep cleaning checklist view to go at your own pace.

Fast Pace: Do one or more tasks per day until complete!

Slower Pace: Do one task per week, completing all tasks in one calendar year. Make deep cleaning a year-round habit!

Option 3: Room-by-Room

Use the customizable checklists that detail how to clean each area top-to-bottom. The first checklist is a list of rooms and areas that you can use as your primary list to complete, checking off as you complete the checklist for each room or area.

The Room-by-Room Checklists help with all cleaning options. Highlighted fields can be edited to fit your home precisely, but print clear.

Fast Pace: Complete the checklist for one (or more) room or area per day until complete!

Slower Pace: Complete the checklist for one room or area per week, or even per month, with the goal of completing your entire home in one calendar year.
