This is one of my favorite annual printables I offer on the blog, free for everyone. I just love picturing you making your fun summer plans. I want to believe that I’m helping you have a better summer. If I’m not, just let me think it anyway! Ha!
The download contains a calendar that goes from the end of May to the beginning of September, all in a two page calendar view that you can post up in your house or keep on a clipboard. The download also has a blank bucket list page as well as a page of ideas of what to put on your personal bucket list. Add your own, or pick and choose from my list … or both!

Honestly, I’m really not sure what to say about this except to just share the download, BUT google dings posts that are too short and won’t recommend them in searches, so I’m going to say a little more. (Also, this is why every recipe post on the internet has soooooo many words before it gets to the recipe, if you didn’t know.)
This is a big summer for our family. This is the last summer before my oldest two (twins) go off to college in August. They both have internships this summer – one will be working for a company in Dallas as a paid finance intern and the other will be working for a local company as a paid software engineer intern. It blows my mind they have these kinds of internships as 18-year-olds. But, they really are that amazing and accomplished, and there is no way I could feel any prouder of them. They are absolutely ready for this next step in life, so as much as I’ll miss them in the fall and want to enjoy all the time I can with them this summer, this coming transition is easier knowing how ready they both are to launch.
The 16-year old is hoping to be hired at a little local business and things are looking good there. She’s my busy bee and very independent, so she’ll be driving herself to work, the gym and out with friends. I’ll be lucky to see her for dinner every night! Though, I’m pretty sure if I make her favorite foods it will lure her home. Ha!
I am so happy I have an 11 year old that still needs his mom. Thank goodness! I have him enrolled in a daily exercise class held at the local school here for over an hour per day. He’s still at the age that wants to swim every day of the summer and still young enough to need a chaperone, so that’s where I’ll be most days too. On rainy days, you’ll probably find us the local bouncy place. My little black belt will be taking karate off for the summer, but he will be in a summer indoor soccer league. If you can tell, this kid craves physical activity! He’s either moving fast, playing with friends, playing with Legos, or he is glued to a book. He reads more than any kid I’ve ever seen besides my oldest daughter at his age. (That turned out well for her!) I’ll have to use his reading breaks to get anything done around the house, lol. He and I will probably be the only ones trying to check off a summer bucket list, but I’ll try to rope in my girls and husband whenever they’re available! This is strange new territory as a mom, that’s for sure.
Because of the kids starting college in the fall and saving expenses for that, as well as their busy internship schedules, we actually don’t plan to take any trips this summer. We did a huge 10 day trip last year as a last hurrah, kind of knowing we’d lay low this summer. But no trips, means more funds for at-home fun! Life is a balance, am I right?!
What are your summer plans?
From my home to yours,
Mary
