This is one of my favorite annual printables I offer on the blog, free for everyone. I just love picturing you making your fun summer plans. I want to believe that I’m helping you have a better summer. If I’m not, just let me think it anyway! Ha!

I know this calendar helps ME! This is what I use to put in every summer camp, activity, birthday, and more to see at a glimpse how we’re going to be able to squeeze in all the fun things I want to do.

The download contains a calendar that goes from the end of May to the beginning of September. There are two options for types of calendar – a one page view and a two page view. You can pick the download to either start on Sunday or Monday. I prefer my calendars to start on Monday which is not the standard, but it’s definitely how I think of the week. It’s an easier view to plan the weekend! I think you should give it a try, but I also have the Sunday start in case you don’t want to change. lol. Each calendar set also comes with the Summer Fun Ideas List and a blank Summer Fun list. You can use my idea list as your summer bucket list, create your own list from scratch, or add some of my ideas and some of yours – your choice.

The download for the Summer Planning Printable Set is completely FREE. Just click on the option you prefer below.

Honestly, I’m really not sure what to say about this except to just share the download, BUT google dings posts that are too short and won’t recommend them in searches, so I’m going to say a little more. (Also, this is why every recipe post on the internet has soooooo many words before it gets to the recipe, if you didn’t know.)

Last summer was a big summer for our family. It was the last summer before my oldest two (twins) went off to college in August. Now, somehow, this summer feels even bigger, because at the end of the summer, I will be driving all three of my daughters to college. They will all be attending BYU this fall. I could not feel any more proud of them if I tried. I will miss them terribly. They will each be working as much as possible this summer to save up for college. While they are working, I’ll be busy doing summer with my son.

My 12 year old son keeps me very occupied. This summer, in addition to his soccer practices, soccer games and tournaments, he is also enrolled in a daily exercise class targeted for boys his age. He did it last summer and had an absolute blast. He’s still at the age that also will want to swim every day of the summer, so that’s where I’ll be most days too. On rainy days, you’ll probably find us the local indoor trampoline park. If you can tell, this kid craves physical activity! He’s either moving fast, playing with friends, playing with Legos, or he is glued to a book. He reads more than any kid I’ve ever seen besides my oldest daughter at his age. (That turned out well for her!) In the past few months he’s been working on creating his own educational site for kids. It’s a huge passion of his, so I imagine he’ll be making time for that this summer as well… I wonder if that will his affect swimming time or reading time, because there are only so many hours in a day. Hmm…

And for my girls’ sake, my sake, and especially my son’s sake, I want to make this summer meaningful. In my experience, with a big family and busy conflicting schedules, magic doesn’t happen by accident – it takes planning. I’ve already filled out our summer calendar with all of the pre-set items that are out of our control. Now, the fun starts as we start adding additional plans to the calendar! We want to try to fit in one last family vacation.

Whew. That was a lot. I really hope you enjoy your Summer Planning Printable set. The download is completely free of charge, of course. You’ve probably already figured that out.

What are your summer plans?

From my home to yours,
Mary
