Teen & Tween Girl Easter Basket Ideas (non-candy!)

No dogs were fed chocolate in the making of these pictures … though not for lack of her trying.

I’ve got four kids, and three of them are teen & tween girls. Yes, it makes for a lot of emotional drama, but I also love it. They are becoming intelligent little women who crack jokes that make me gut-laugh and help me keep our household running smoothly.

They also know about the Easter bunny, which makes it even more fun to surprise them with fun goodies. Last year they were saying things in front of their little brother like “Wow, the Easter bunny is so awesome” and then winking at me. šŸ˜‚ Or “Mom, can you remind the Easter bunny next year that no one likes Peeps?” to which I replied “Maybe the Easter bunny thinks they look really cute and colorful in the Easter Basket.”

I decided to help other parents of tween and teen girls, so I compiled a list of basket ideas. I must say, that this list would also work for Christmas stockings and gift bags. (No, I didn’t get my girls EVERYTHING on this list, though I was tempted. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø)

I started early on gathering things for Easter baskets this year. I had to eventually stop myself because I realized the baskets wouldn’t hold this much stuff. Don’t worry, I ended up selling our old baskets on Facebook Marketplace and bought new larger baskets. Ha, I know you were worried!

And in case you were wondering … there will still be plenty of candy in these baskets. I’m not a monster. 🤣

Happy Easter shopping!!

From my home to yours,
Mary

These are great ideas! I usually do a swimsuit and flip flops, too.
