The Master Bedroom is the most important room in the house. It is more important than the kitchen or the living room. It is where you spend most of your time – where you rest, and where you should find peace and sanctuary. It is the room you finish your day and begin each new one.Ā If you are married, the Master Bedroom is where the marriage relationship is nurtured.
Taking the time to create a space that both calms and cheers you, that speaks to you, is important. I’ve found some Master Bedrooms that will inspire you to create or enhance your own fantastic spaces.
10 Inspiring Master Bedrooms
From Driven By Decor – This bedroom is not large, but it shows how when you strip away all the clutter and make it beautiful, you don’t need a large space to make your master bedroom feel like a sanctuary.
From Hunted Interiors – A very cool thing about this bedroom is that the updates they give are very simple. A fresh coat of paint, new lighting, curtains, bedding, and a rug … no big layout or DIYĀ changes. But just some fresh new coordinating things made the space come alive.
From Architecture Art Designs –Ā With the lamps on the headboard, space is cleared up on the night tables. And the cute baskets at the end of the bed are great for extra blankets and a place to put the throw pillows when you are going to crawl into bed.
From Naptime Decorator – The soothing color choices of mixing different neutral colors makes the room feel soft and very sanctuary-like.
From The Rooster And The Hen – When there isn’t a nice wall or corner for a sitting area, this is a great way of adding a sitting area. And since many people have a bench or something at the end of their bed anyway, this is like a two-for-one. in the room. And can we just take a moment to appreciate how pretty this is?
From BHGĀ – I love the way the chandelier and fancy touches add a feeling of romance into the space, but the white bed-spread and curtains seem to ground it so it doesn’t come across as too gaudy. I like the romantic feeling, but I think you’d want to be careful not to go too far with it!
From Apartment Therapy – Things I love about this room was the choice to use a chest instead of a bench at the end of the bed, so it can be useful storage. I also noticed the clean lines and clutter free surface on that dresser.
From Lushome – And I can’t help but share this idea for a master bedroom. If your spouse doesn’t like sharing the bed with your dog, make a spot in the night table. Plus, the tone-on-tones in this room are just fun.
From Citrine Living – Of course, I have to mention the beauty of symmetry in a master bedroom. When each side mirrors the other it is so calming to look at and enhances the relaxing environment. This symmetrical master bedroom is just gorgeous.
From Mary ORGANIZESĀ – This is my Master Bedroom. And you can click on the link to see the whole tour, but I wanted to show you one of my favorite tricks. I use a table place mat (so many beautiful options) on the top of my night table so that I can put my water or bedtime snack there and not worry about damaging the wood top. I also use a little clip to keep my cell phone charger cord handy!
I hope you enjoyed the 10 inspiring master bedroom spaces! You’ll notice none of these bedrooms are surrounded in clutter … and they are as organized as they are beautiful! Do you feel inspired to remove the clutter from your space and make a few updates?! A little bit can go a long way!
From my home to yours,

My husband came home from work today and asked me to declutter our bedroom this week (he works away) This has really inspired me to make it look really nice for him next weekend. Thank you!
Awesome!! When you both are behind it, it is so much more meaningful!
Love the place mat idea. These rooms are beautiful. Thanks for the great ideas!
