I have a new printable in the shop, and it is a simple one, but very important if you happen to be planning a birthday party or small event.
The Party Planning pages in this printable aren’t just a place to plan out your party and make important notes, but they also help to remind you of stuff you don’t want to forget!
I’ve also used these pages to plan baby showers, birthday parties, and even small events for church and my community. The example below is from planning Brian’s Ninja/ Ninjago party earlier this month. These pages were so helpful.
All about the Printable
Main Party Section
On the main party page, there is a place to plan party details, activities, and party favors. This particular party was HEAVY on activities, so it’s safe to say you probably wouldn’t encounter more activities than this on a planning sheet.
Guest List Section
The guest list section gives you the option to track number of kids and number of adults separately, or just one or the either.
The Menu & Setup Section
You can see in the picture above that the menu for the Ninja party was pretty simple. I keep menus for kids parties pretty simple unless parents are invited. This portion sees a lot more usage for baby showers when the food is usually the focus instead of the activities!
This is a place to make important notes about what you’ll need and the plans you have to setup and decorate.
Shopping List
The purpose of this page is obvious, but I think it is so important to have a place to write down things to buy while you’re planning. This is how to avoid forgetting things! I also start off the list for you with some helpful reminders.
The Two Printing Versions
There are two versions included in the download. Both versions have the exact same section content, it’s just the pages are laid out a little bit differently.
The first version can be printed 2-sided and cut in half. This is what I’d use to fit in my planner.
The other version is a clipboard version. It’s the exact same info, but I’ve adjusted the page to the right, to give room for the clip of the clipboard.
Personally, I’d print these pages NOT 2-sided, so you can see all the info at one glance if you pulled the sheets out of the clipboard.
Sometimes, I also like planning things on clipboards. I’m a lover of clipboards too, so I wanted to create the clipboard version.
Party Time
I’ve shared a few of my parties through the years. Some I haven’t shown because they were just SO simple! Find out what is most important to your person being celebrated, then put the focus there.
Other parties –
This list really shows me that I need to start sharing more of my parties, even the simple ones that are almost embarrassing to post.
I hope you give the Party Planning Printable a try and that it helps you plan your next party!
From my home to yours,
Mary
