Early this past summer, a friend posted on Facebook about how her family loves using POGO Passes. It is a pass to that gets you into lots of fun places like the zoo, laser tag, mini golf, the water park, jump house, and more. I decided we needed some fun during our crazy summer of moving, so I bought passes for my family.
This summer we used the passes like a checklist of fun. We really needed inspiration and accountability to actually do things, because our natural state is home-body! We’ve now tried things we never had before and I learned I actually enjoy laser tag. Who knew?!?!
About the POGO Pass
The POGO Pass isn’t an unlimited pass to each place, you can read the description for your city to see where and how often you can go, or what other stuff is included. (You can browse the places, by clicking on the city closest to you.)
You can print out passes, but I use the POGO Pass App to keep track of where we’ve been and what we are planning to do.
Right now, you can get POGO passes for:
- Dallas/ Fort Worth
- San Antonio, Texas
- Austin, Texas
- Kansas City
- Phoenix
- Las Vegas
Are you thinking this is expensive??
Guess what, the best thing about this pass is the crazy savings. Maybe I should have led with that?! I love these passes so much, I truly didn’t even know what to tell you about them first. The prices are amazing! Right now they have a Christmas Sale going on, so use the code below. (Buy your passes from my affiliate link!)
Turn The Pass Into an Amazing Christmas Gift
Obviously you know I am all about gifts that will NOT become clutter, so I wanted to brainstorm how to make this gift seem bigger than just giving a card that says “Hey, here is this awesome thing” (though I honestly think that is fine too).
I came up with putting it in a Christmas box, padding with some tissue paper, then printing out all the places you can go.
Imagine your little kids thinking each piece of paper is like a ticket?! My 5-year-old is really into “tickets” for things, thank you kindergarten.
Seriously, buy some passes for your family already!!
And please, buy from my affiliate link!
How I Became An Affiliate
Speaking of being an affiliate, I feel like sharing this “boring” part of this story too. I purchased and used our passes without any thought of being an affiliate. Fast forward to me in my new town, being invited to a girls night with some ladies from church (who are now friends – woohoo). We were talking about family friendly outings (all four of us have four kids!), so I told them about the POGO Pass. That is when my new friend Candra says “Hey, I actually work with POGO Pass to help them find affiliates.” Umm, what?! I get at least a few emails every day asking if I’d like to be an affiliate for this or for that (things I don’t use and don’t even consider), but I love the idea of sharing what I truly love and use! So guess what, Candra signed me up as an affiliate. Woot, woot! This means, if you buy passes for your family, I get a little commission.
But seriously, buy passes for your family or as an amazing gift for people you love … and buy from my affiliate link! 😉
From my home to yours,
Mary
