The last time I shared a grocery list and menu printable was 2014, which feels like 6 lifetimes ago! I loved that printable at the time, but it looks kind of lame to me now. I’ve got something way better for you today. It is definitely time to replace the old version!

When I sit down to make my grocery list, it is always at the same time I create my menu. Doesn’t it make sense to think about a menu while you’re creating a grocery list?! That’s why, to me, they need to be on the same sheet, so you just think through it all at once.

This works for me because I don’t keep a breakfast and lunch menu, I just keep certain foods in stock for these meals. I only plan out dinners, and all the details fit in the box.

I also like to divide my grocery list by locations in most stores. It helps me feel more organized while I am doing the actual shopping.

Here’s a little preview of how I use the sheet for my family. The link to download the pdf with good resolution is down below.

After I create the list and menu, I will cut the menu part off and hang it up in my kitchen on my command center. It seems to keep the hungry crowd satisfied to know what is coming for dinner.

It is way better that my kids can read the menu here rather than ask me 500 times each afternoon. I mean, they still ask me sometimes, nothing works 100% of the time.

My menu above is just a little smaller because I use the version in my personal-size planner. It is identical to the download below, but, just smaller so it fits in my planner.

I use this printable every week. And I’ve used some version of this every week for years and years. Truly, once you make your grocery list this way, you will not want to go back!

You can see the tour of the entire meal planning section here.

Do I have you convinced? Are you excited to try this Grocery List and Menu Planning Printable? Well, good, because here is the FREE Download.

(Download for personal use only.)

I hope you love this printable as much as I do. Here’s to many nights where you actually want to cook the dinner you have planned! 😉
